Your blood donation will always be appreciated!
A single blood donation can save up to four lives.
It happens because the blood bag is divided into blood components: red blood cells, plasma, platelets and cryoprecipitate. Each of them has a specific use.
The entire blood donation process will often take about 1 hour, but the time may vary depending on the number of donors that will be there at the time.
The blood donation process has the phases below:
Complete a form (you have to be honest on this occasion);
Registration at the Blood Donation Bank;
Measuring vital signs;
Screening process;
Blood sampling;
After the blood donation, you must eat a snack given by the blood donation bank.
